The Mesh Trend

Hi again! This is my blog on the 'Mesh trend'
There are many ways to bring the mesh to your wardrobe, the knitted open-weave jumpers, meshed crop tops to the daring sheer meshed dress. Its a fun, daring, sporty and Is open for you to interpret anyway you want. Make It a sexy statement with an all meshed dress, grungy with a meshed crop top and some highwaisted or chic with a mesh panelled midi skirt. So its up to you, however you want to style this awesome trend. But I thought I would show you the items I've had my eye on during this mesh trend.

Freak Of Nature Sonic Boom Crop Top In PU And Mesh

This Mesh crop is by Freak Of Nature, available at ASOS. Freak Of Nature's clothing is described as 'The line between grunge and glamour' which is a funky combination of styles. The tops black leather, cropped style and of course mesh detailing is a definite key piece. It's rocker vibe adds to any outfit, styled with highwaisted leather trousers, denim shorts, coloured skirts, well really anything. I personally love the skirt its styled with, the bright neon checked pencil skirt adds colour, but maintains the grungy feel.

This midi black skirt is from H&M, it definitely captures my idea of the mesh trend in a nutshell. Its tight short underskirt with the meshed detailing over the top is chic and stylish. The skirt creates an almost sporty vibe which I love as its a lot of fun to style. I have to admit highwaisted bottoms are my favourite, whether its jeans to shorts. That's why I love this skirt even more, you can tuck baggy jumpers into it, team it with a tight crop top or a patterned shirt hanging loosely over the top. You can team it up with anything you like and its black which is easy to style and is one of my favourite colours (even though it isn't a colour). And when you thought it couldn't get any better its only £20!

This Motel top is very 90's as it says. Its different to my other mesh items as its very colourful, with bright greens, yellows, pinks and purples all on the front. The multi-coloured Shiva print compliments the sheer black meshed sleeves and back. This statement top will make any outfit pop with its bold colours, interesting print and stylish mesh sleeves. Add bright coloured bottoms to make the outfit even more fun or keep it simple with black disco pants. A statement necklace, earrings and   a bright coloured lip will make you shine like a rainbow, and lets face it who doesn't want to look like a beautiful bright rainbow.

Starting my Blog

Hello there
This is my first blog, and I thought I would begin by telling you a bit about me. So lets begin. I am 17 and am living in the UK, I am currently studying photography, drama, media and English literature for A levels. I love fashion, I know that's very generic, but there is no other way of putting it. I love looking online and going out to find some great new clothes. Although I might not be able to afford everything, I make sure I save or go out and find something maybe even better that is cheaper. So why am I starting a blog? I am hoping to study fashion media at University, so this is a great way to express my creative love for clothes. Also I've always looked at blogs and have always wanted to start my own, so here it goes.

Here are some of my current loves, from online stores to shops. I love all different styles of clothing, from vintage chic to logo t-shirts. Hopefully I will soon have these lovely items in my wardrobe, just need to save my money more...

Illustrated People Egyptian Eye Print Crop Top

This rather interesting co-ord is from Illustrated People (available at ASOS) I'm quite excited as recently the top has gone in the sale!! I love this co-ord pair as i haven't seen anything like it before. I like that It's a very cool take on the monochrome look with the black and white colour scheme. And for the pattern, well look at it, its so cool! The Egyptian eye print detail is all over the skirt and the crop top, making it an explosion of eccentric pattern.

This cute number is from Motel Rocks. I love this asymmetric duo toned mini skirt because it's easy to style as it's denim and a statement piece to wear adding dimension to any outfit. It's an interesting twist on your usual denim skirt, with the zip and different washes of denim. It's definitely a fun skirt to play around with that can work into anyone's particular style.

Image 2 of PRINTED DRESS from Zara

This dress is from Zara, a shop I adore. It's from their new collection, as I was browsing through everything this caught my eye. I love the floaty shape of the dress and how it hangs on the body. The rich red and purple colours are so warm and different to the vibrant colours worn in summer. Although this is more of an Autumn dress with the colours and long sleeves, but with a pair of sandals and sunglasses its definitely got the potential for a fun summer dress. I just love it, from the army pattern, to its  simple shape and rich colours.
